	By: The Mouth The tit for tatting between The Riven and Eidolon continued this week. The highlight being when Malarthi (eidolon) paradoxed 3/5s of The Riven and then became the first and (if the Oracles are to be believed) only disciple to see level 0 for his troubles. From the latest posts in the Underworld it looks like it may be over for now. In a seemingly minor event, Arthur (Shadows) paradoxed Scrotum (Iron Maiden) with the explanation that “it seemed to me that Scrotum was looking for a confrontation, so I simply removed him from the field of play for a bit”. In retaliation, Scrotum silenced seven of Arthur’s posts. Jefe (Selket) then later put the exclamation mark on top of Scrotum’s period by killing Arthur five times and leaving him Vexed. Perhaps flushed with his success against Arthur, nine minutes later Jefe took advantage of Mikolaj’s (The Riven) death at the hands of an Errant Djinn to bring him back to life with one vitality and then promptly Doomed him to remove it. After twice killing him in this manner, fifteen minutes later he took on Mr Brightside (The Riven). Ten minutes later Coelacanth (N: The Riven) fell. Two more minutes and it was pakhet’s (The Riven) turn and another two em’s (The Riven). With The Riven safely dead at 16:39, it looked like the meager fireworks display was over. But almost two hours later Leonidas (Selket), reígn (Iron Maiden), Scrotum (Iron Maiden) and Flor Venenosa (N: Imperial Conquest) joined the fun. When it was all over, all five members of were left undone by the power Txatxu. When Mr Brightside later attempted to choose a path it was met with another death and a vexing spirit. As justification for attacking The Riven, Jefe posted: “They are boastful and arrogant; better than everyone? I think not.” If all it takes to justify losing your favour, exaltation, and attunement these days is to be boastful and arrogant then a large number of disciples had better start watching their backs! Access to the Eye of Menthu is gained during the Burning Season from a random series of encounters that begin in the Distant Wasteland (which in turn is accessed from a random encounter in the Eastern Desert). Once you’ve gained access you will be able to find out the current status of the Eye by spending just one anima to either open or close the eye a fraction. The result will tell you whether the Eye is safely closed or is near opening and let you know if you need to spend more anima to change its status. A lot has to do with the attack on The Riven. Also reígn has left Menthu and is now following Ahmose. “I would like to know who would not like to be attacked.
