Who gives a Hoot? An interview with HootieHoot

by Hooters
“Explore and More! Engage! Perceive! Communicate communally! Hoot!” That’s pretty good advice coming from HootieHoot, Nomarch of Owls ‘R Us, as she shares her dominion’s basic philosophy of exploration, engagement, perception, and communication.

HootieHoot’s plans for her dominion? “To eye spy seekingly see what comes.” Those who had hoped to find out what we might expect from Owls ‘R Us in the next few months might be disappointed to not have a definitive answer, but Hootie’s response did reveal her laid back, hopeful attitude.

Wise owl that she is, HootieHoot tackled the question of honesty and its importance, in light of a recent spate of liars whose pants were on fire a few weeks ago in Ankhet. “No single sizey size is fittingly fitted to all and one,” she said. “How can even eagerly erudite owlish oompa loompas suppose to ply paint with rolling rollers of such such tryingly tremendous dimension? No no no no, I can't smoke it!” How important is telling the truth to this wise owl? “This owl primarily prioritizes truthitty truthtelling above some some some alternatively other attributed attributes.” There you have it. If you want to impress HootieHoot, then you can best do so by being honest in the game and not disseminating lies.

Once a disciple has lied to HootieHoot, regaining her trust again is not a given, but it’s also not ruled out. When asked the following series of questions, Could you trust them in the sense of being their ally? Would it make you feel uncomfortable? Would you take their word at a future time in the game, or would you continue to be suspicious that they might lie to you again, HootieHoot’s response was, “To ally all of the absolutes above: maybe.”

Since she first started playing Ankhet, HootieHoot has changed her writing style, and she explained why. “Word painting strokes move and move and move,” she said. “Sometimes a groove holds me tightly tightly for a timely time. Sometimes lights come and go, wink blinking like lying in the back back back sitting seat of the unity u-n-i-t-y universal inversal conveyance eye spying streetlights. One way? Doubtfully doubtful. Change is.”

Regarding the mass tutoring issue and whether it’s finally been laid to rest, HootieHoot explains, “Hoot hoot! Who can certainly say?” She then adds, “Is the heading head unhugly ugly? Inenviably inevitable? Worthly worthy? Better on celery than navel lint?” Somehow she doesn’t seem too impressed with the entire mass tutoring issue which may have seen its day, at least for the time being.

Refusing to share who her favorite disciple is, or even admitting that there is a disciple that she finds fascinating, HootieHoot answered with another question, “Why oh why oh why would I have one?”

Where might you encounter this wise disciple? “Needing more more more loud experiential experience before this query quite fits am I, she answered. In other words, she has no favorite questing place, or at least won’t admit to having a favorite place.

Characterizing her own playing style and what it tells us of her personal philosophy, Hootie said, “Flowing, growing, win-wondering, pondering.” Then she added, “Empirical emphasis on emphatic lingering lack of stopped stuck static brainworks. Conscious constent subconscious continual associative anecdotal and evidential contemplation. Expositional exploration. Fun fun fun fun fun! Give a hoot! Don't pollute!” Using the gray matter, the brain seems to be important to Hootie, and one might assume by extension, that could be something she looks for in her friends and allies. However, Hootie herself qualifies this statement. “Maybe mightly use of unusually angle viewpoint from a simply simple simon is highest high of a maddening moment -- knock-a-blocking towers of swing swaying ink-and-tell lectural ivory. Measures meander and might maybe may not be openly obvious.”

“Brain box chatter says: this questy querying question trainline is not aligned with hootful ponderings. Hootie-think rapturously requires concepts of context and one by one by one by one astute analytical analyzing.” That’s probably wise advice because each and every situation in Ankhet is quite different, and there’s no one size fits all rule that could apply to any and all actions.

Of course, bias in Ankhet, either toward a dominion or a player seems to show what kind of alignment certain disciples will take based on game actions. As Hootie herself said, “Another ancillary misalignment belly dancing across the brainbox screen springs from overt obvious public bias buy in buying that slants weight shift priorities to crisis crime and proveful punishing.” Not believing in universal truths, Hootie suggests, “The questing queries you supply precipitously presuppose actual acceptance of habitual habitudes and current feng shui functional facets as gravel grounded universitruths.” She adds, “Not the planting land I inhabit and so transitive translation challenges cork pop around.”

What are Hootie’s words of wisdom for the community? “A querying question: what is the benefit of kindness?” I suppose that begs the question if there is enough kindness in Ankhetland, and what kind of benefits result from showing a little bit of kindness, and perhaps a little bit of tenderness as well.

Asked if a disciple should lose most or all of his favour for slaying Kauket early, Hootie remarked, “Is should a factual factor?”

The Kauket slaying issue is certainly not an easy one to resolve, and with En Sabah Nur’s recent encounter with Kauket, he chose to condemn himself, thus showing regret over what he had done.

Perhaps after reading this interview on HootieHoot, other disciples might be willing to explore and more a relationship with this interesting disciple, who not only gives a hoot, but likes to participate in the communes with other disciples.
